Located on a peninsula, flanked by rivers Lima, Froufe and Tamente and with Serra Amarela in the background, Lima Escape Camping and Glamping is a true Nature retreat. Traditional camping areas coexist with romantic Glamour tents and charming wooden Bungalows built in the style of a “Tree house” or the typical “Shepherd’s House”. The overall environment is calm and peaceful.
ESCAPE TO NATURE with LIMA ESCAPE!
In addition to the traditional campsites and caravan sites, for all those who do not renounce the comfort, we offer Glamping experience. The luxurious and cozy bungalows located in the middle of the trees are decorated with minimalist styles, and the Tipi and Bell-Tents are surprisingly comfortable. All this with a breathtaking view over the legendary river of oblivion.
Adega do Artur: a restaurant integrated (but not exclusive) in the Camping Park Entre Ambos-os-Rios (Lima Escape) that serves the best dishes of Minho’s gastronomy and Portuguese cuisine. At Adega do Artur, experiences are available both in summer and winter. Pleasant family moments are guaranteed around an indoor fireplace, or, on summer days, on the terrace surrounded by the typical trees of Peneda-Gerês National Park. Local quality meats, traditional codfish, octopus, vegetarian dishes and salads are served. In summer, live music concerts and other outdoor events are organized on Saturdays.
As we have, right next to us, clear rivers, beautiful trails, recreational fishing sites, and the wild animals of the National Park – the only one in Portugal – we also offer our clients several activities for all tastes. The purpose is to be in full contact with Peneda-Gerês National Park’s flora and fauna in an appellative environment full of mountainous tradition and stunning nature at its best.
