UNDER THE TREE SHADE FOR RELAXED CAMPING

Lima Escape Camping consists of three areas for medium and large tents and one car-free area for small tents. The areas are rectangular plots under a leafy oak and pine forest going down to the riverbank Lima.

We strive to respect the required distance between guests, while installing tents and other camping equipment. We focus on comfortable accommodation, privacy and the best experience surrounded by nature.

Thus, we only allow tents to be set up until 10:00 p.m. In addition, we appreciate our visitors to respect our Silence Period between 11:00 p.m. and 8:00 a.m.

When maximum capacity is reached, Lima Escape reserves the right to limit car parking inside the campsite – usually between end of July and the end of August. In this case, cars are only allowed to enter our premises to unload/load gear and the rest of the time they have to stay in the parking lot outside the camping site.

CAMPERS & MOTORHOMES

Lima Escape Camping & Glamping has a special area for campers and motorhomes and its own service station, where our visitors can attain to all practical needs of their vehicles.

Since the year 2015, Lima Escape Camping & Glamping has been inspected by accredited ACSI Eurocamping Card inspectors, carrying out a yearly check of our camping facilities. We are included in ADAC’s Camping and Areas Guide since 2017.

Hence, we grant discount to our customers with ACSI and ADAC’s card, a special rate applicable during low season.

Campers and motorhomes are allowed to enter the premises until 10:00 pm.

As general site rule, we appreciate our visitors to respect the Silence Period between 11 p.m. and 8:00 a.m.

Glamour Camping

Glamping is a modern alternative to traditional camping, with posh and comfortable conditions, but keeping the principal core of camping, such as a direct contact with nature. This camping style was created at the end of the 20th century and developed into a combination of “glamour” and “camping”, providing a valid alternative for all those who seek direct contact with nature without giving up sophisticated habits and daily life comfort.

Lima Escape Glamping offers 2 types of tents with oriental decoration – 2 Glamour Tipi tents and 3 Glamour Bell Tents –  with a 5 meters diameter and set up on a wooden terrace.

Beautifully decorated and with plenty of cushions,  puffs and pillows, every Lima Escape Glamour tent is set up on a wooden terrace, with table and chairs to provide a pristine nature experience to sleep and wake up to the early birds’ chirping and with stunning view over the Lima River.

Bungalows

Lima Escape Camping & Glamping sought to fit the lodges – the so-called bungalows – in the beautiful mountain forest scenery, minimizing their environmental and landscape impact. This is how the famous tree house bungalows were drawn up as innovative modular constructions of either 1 bedroom or 1 bedroom + 1.

The Bungalows were designed to ensure a direct contact with nature in a comfortable ambiance, both inside the bungalow and on its outdoor balcony in suspension. Its structural option provides a entire glass facade facing the river, transmitting the sensation of waking up comfortably in the middle of the forest.

The Colour Lodges were made to paint a new prisma upon your escape to nature! Suspended or on wheels and close to the riverbank with a privileged sunset view, they are perfectly prepared to relax and enjoy all that nature has to offer, in a comfortable and glammy panache. They are 1 bedroom accommodation and resemble a picturesque miniature country house.

LIMA BAR

Both in summer and winter, we guarantee pleasant moments with your family and friends next to our stove or, on summer days, hanging out at our shaded patio surrounded by nature.

Our Lima Bar serves breakfast, snacks, meals on the go and a great assortment of beverages.

RECEPTION AND GROCERY STORE

At our reception our guests will find useful maps of Peneda-Gerês National Park and regional maps with tourist and cultural information about the region. Additionally, we provide hiking trails brochures, information about local activities and other suggestions.

Our guests will find a handy grocery store at our reception, with some essential products: fresh bread (on demand), drinks, beverages, ice-cream, camping gas bottles, ice, great assortment of biscuits and snacks, milk, eggs, ham, cheese, and some beauty and personal hygiene products.
